Our climate gives us two solid windows for exterior painting: late April through mid-June, and late August through mid-October. Those windows have the right combination of temperature, low humidity, and stable weather for paint to cure properly.

Painting in July heat causes the film to skin over before it can bond. Painting in November races the first hard frost. A good contractor plans the calendar around your project, not the other way around.

Prep Is 80% of the Job
